How many men would do this for a woman? I feel like we have had one or two posts of that happening where men try to help a woman feel comfortable in a vulnerable scene, but I know damn well they are the exception.

She seems like a very empathetic person

Having been a life-drawing model for many years, I once had a guy start to take off his pants after the first half of a class. When I asked wtf he was doing he said "oh I thought maybe you'd be more comfortable if you're not the only one naked" and I told him to keep his clothes on, it was very uncomfortable for me, esp since I was obviously doing fine.

I can imagine it's different if you're on a film set maybe, it's a different sort of environment, and if you are good friends or tight co-workers. Probably very context-dependent. If it helped him feel more comfortable, nice.

ok that's good to know. i think if it's ok with the other person, it can be a nice gesture. it just needs to be taken into context how it goes down, bc if you're naked by yourself in a formal context (like life-drawing or acting or sth) and then there is one person outside that context also being naked, it can become even more awkward, as it was in my own example. but in this case, it sounds like a nice supportive gesture and i'm happy he felt supported by it!
