May 1 - Acapulco season 3 premiere (Apple)
In season three of Acapulco, it’s time to reconcile past mistakes and exciting new beginnings. In the present story, older Maximo finds himself returning to a Las Colinas he no longer recognizes. In 1985, younger Maximo continues his climb up the ladder of success while potentially jeopardizing all the relationships he’s worked so hard to build.

S3 delves into Deborah's late-night host aspirations. Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace, Tony Goldwyn, and J. Cameron-Smith will guest star this season. Two episodes will be released every week.
May 2 - A Man in Full series premiere (Netflix)
Facing relentless foes and sudden bankruptcy, an Atlanta real estate tycoon must claw his way back to the top when his empire begins to crumble. Starring Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu, Diane Lane, Jon Michael Hill, and William Jackson Harper (who was just nominated for a Tony yesterday!).
May 2 - The Tattooist of Auschwitz (Peacock)
Inspired by the real-life story of Jewish Holocaust survivors Lali and Gita Sokolov. Lali arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1942, and shortly after arrival, he was made one of the tätowierer (tattooists), charged to ink identification numbers onto fellow prisoners' arms. One day, he meets Gita when tattooing her prisoner number on her arm. They experience love at first sight, and so begins a courageous, unforgettable, and human story. Under constant guard from a volatile Nazi SS officer Baretzki, Lali and Gita became determined to keep each other alive. Starring Jonah Hauer-King, Anna Próchniak, Harvey Keitel, and Melanie Lynskey.
May 2 - Selena + Restaurant series premiere (Food Network and HBO)
Selena Gomez takes the next step in her culinary adventure as she heads out of her home kitchen and into the professional kitchens of some of LA's hottest restaurants in Selena + Restaurant. Gomez will be accompanied by best friend, Raquelle Stevens, as her cooking skills are put to the test by the best in the business. Over six episodes, chefs Shirley Chung, Keith Corbin, Stephanie Izard, Andrew & Michelle Muñoz, Wolfgang Puck and Marcel Vigneron will teach and test Selena to see how quickly she can learn the ropes with the ultimate goal of creating a dish good enough to make each restaurant's menu. Each chef will also highlight a charity that is meaningful to them during each episode, with all of the featured non-profits receiving a donation to further their cause.
May 2 - Welcome to Wrexham season 3 premiere (FX and Hulu)
In 2020, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds teamed up to purchase the 5th tier Wrexham Football Club in the hopes of creating an underdog story the whole world could root for. The world took notice and change is afoot. After 15 painful seasons in the National League, the Club finally achieved promotion back into the English Football League. Will Wrexham AFC stand up to the challenge and rise again?
May 3 - Selling the OC season 3 premiere (Netflix)

May 8 - Reginald the Vampire season 2 premiere (SyFy)

May 8 - Dark Matter series premiere (Apple)
A sci-fi thriller series based on the blockbuster book by acclaimed, bestselling author Blake Crouch, Dark Matter follows Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor and family man who - one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago - is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. May 17 - RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 premiere (Paramount+)
Shannel (S1, AS1), Roxxxy Andrews (S5, AS2), Vanessa Vanjie Mateo (S10, S11), Nina West (S11), Plastique Tiara (S11), Gottmik (S13), Angeria Paris VanMichaels (S14), and Jorgeous (S14) are back in the Werk Room!
May 20 - Stax: Soulsville USA series premiere (HBO)
STAX: SOULSVILLE U.S.A tells the story of an underdog record label comprised of Black and white collaborators who ushered in the groundbreaking, industry-altering soul music of Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, The Staple Singers, Sam & Dave and many others that defined a generation. Driven by instinct and defying the notion that Black artists needed to be "made marketable," the Memphis-based label went from ultimate outsider to one of the most influential producers of Black music - finding its place inside the broader mainstream record industry. Stax became more than a record label; it transformed into a beacon of Black freedom.
May 23 - Thirst with Shay Mitchell (Max)
Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell explores the world one drink at a time as she visits exotic locations, samples unique ingredients, and meets expert hosts. On her journey, she encounters the latest drink trends, the best bars, and 8,000 years of sipping history.
May 30 - We Are Lady Parts season 2 premiere (Peacock)
Season 2 of We Are Lady Parts sees the band return with a renewed artistic mission after the high of their first UK tour, only to find a rival band threatens their delicate status quo. As the reality of chasing success sets in, Lady Parts embark on recording their first album, juggling personal ambitions and deciding whether ‘making it big’ is really what they wanted. Season 2 will also feature guest stars including Malala Yousafzai and Meera Syal.
