-On Bridgerton season 3:
“Everyone knows this season belongs to Penelope and Colin, but when we meet Kate and Anthony again, she has softened quite a bit. She’s growing into her role as viscountess.”
-On her career:
“I want to explore my musical roots a bit more. All these different signs have been coming up, indicating I should return to the piano. I’ve also been auditioning for more stage work”
- on the shoot being her first time wearing traditional Indian:
“It is, yes. I was thrilled when I saw the styling board for this. It had all these references from the ’60s. I had no idea Indian fashion could be viewed through this lens. It was exactly how I wanted to be seen and how I imagined an Indian woman to be portrayed in the fashion space. My mum was very conservative and strict, so anything Indian she would put me in made me look like an aunty. It took the incredible Vogue India team to make me look cool.”
“Representing Indian women has been such a joy. 99% of the people who recognise me are women of colour, they’ll hug me and tell me how cool it is to see brown women on-screen.
