The show is described as a "quick-witted romantic series set in an alt-fantasy Tudor world," in which Edward VI doesn't die young and the Nine Days' Queen never loses her head.
Emily Bader leads the cast as Jane Grey. Edward Bluemel stars opposite her as Guildford Dudley, Jane's future husband. Anna Chancellor is Lady Frances Grey; Rob Brydon is Lord Dudley; Jim Broadbent is the Duke of Leicester, Jane's uncle; Dominic Cooper is Lord Seymour, Edward's uncle. Finally, Jordan Peters plays King Edward, while Kate O'Flynn and Abbie Hern portray his sisters, Princess Mary and Princess Bess, respectively.
All eight episodes of the show will debut on Prime on June 27th.
