“On April 30, actor Kim Soo Hyun revealed his marriage plans at the showcase for the film “Secretly and Greatly.”
When a fan asked when he wants to get married, Kim Soo Hyun explained that due to his busy schedule, it will not be any time soon. He stated, “My marriage plan has been pushed back a bit, and so I am thinking of getting married at the age of 41. At that age, I will consider meeting a 21-year-old woman.”
He also cast the late singer-actress Sulli for a role in his movie ‘Real’ in which they have a sex scene/her nudity. She was very controversial at the time in Korea for being sexual (it got her A LOT of hate) and I remember the sex scene being one of the main things marketed about the film. I remember feeling like she was exploited in that sense, since he and his cousin were at the helm, so definitely had a hand in how it was marketed. Her boyfriend at the time also utilised her sexualised image to talk grotesquely about her in a song, so it all kinda fit together.
There was also a recent incident in which the disgraced actress Kim Sae Ron posted a couple-y pic of them together in the midst of her controversy, his agency denied they ever dated but it’s questionable. She joined the same agency as him in 2020, when she would’ve been 19/20 and he would’ve been 32/33.
There’s also the blind items and rumours which are obviously a bit more up in the air, like him apparently dating Yoona and soon after the breakup she apparently told a journalist her ex was a ‘psycho’, and rumours of his violent/aggressive behaviour from his school days. But I’ll stick to the stuff I’m more concrete on.
