An attempted continuation of this post.

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin ("MHJ") had a press conference yesterday (today?). Needless to say, it was a shit show. I reccommend reading the full twitter thread, as I'll only be giving highlights.

I feel like multiple things are true here all at once

BPD is a shady man or at least not mindful of how he handles things

She is going the public sympathy route to downplay her own shadiness and involvement in mess

She is leaning TOO HEAVILY on the NJ members either by just name dropping them or by simply literally leaning on them for support. Her relationship with them was always a bit too.....childish IMO? Like she wants to be their cool big sister instead of holding herself in an adult space and place so they aren't put in the middle.

Putting aside my personal bias for her aesthetic choices what I dislike is her using the groups of past and present in ways that seem immaterial to the actual issue of the lawsuit. This conflict is between her, BPD & BeLift so WHY is she mentioning all these famous groups when they are, at best, tangibly involved?

I'm not discounting feelings or tea but excluding NJ &Le Sserafim these are things she was presumably ok with as long as she got to do what she wanted and using the varied groups for media play clicks and distractions are.....a choice.

As more comes out this seems to be a clash of egos as well. The idea that she was going to be ousted for varied potential different reasons so she wants to tear down as much as she can in the process. I just don't get the end goal for her personally aside from wanting to damage company reputations especially when, again, these were things she sat on and was OK with at least for a time.

Mhj's giving rejected 1st gen trainee who felt shafted so she tried to live vicariously through idol creative direction or something, creepy Perfect Blue vibes

As more comes out this seems to be a clash of egos as well.

it's absolutely a clash of the egos and that's what makes it so stupid to me. even though I'd love for HYBE to be taken down a peg (or fifty), they stand to walk away with the much better position (unless things go absolutely nuclear and BTS is like ... actually, we're good! once they all come back from military service). even if they lose NewJeans, they have LSF and ILLIT and can have another group of trainees ready to go on a very short turnaround. hell, they could probably even rustle up trainees that can actually sing live and blow all their current groups out of the water if they really wanted to.

she was okay hitching her horse to HYBE's wagon because they had the money she needed access to and the ability to bring in whatever trainees she wanted (because what aspiring idol teenage girl would say no to joining a BTS girl group project? even if you don't like their music, who can say no to that level of success?). what she wasn't okay with was sharing the credit and having others take a peek behind the curtains at her process. she was more than willing to take the resources but not share the credit or the outcomes.

right now, her only saving grace is that her public is seeing their own issues with awful bosses reflected in her situation. but she also has a lot more power over her circumstances and the decisions she made than most workers do, so I'm not sure that sympathy and support will last forever. also, if it is true that she leaked medical records of trainees and/or potentially fucked with the stability of other groups she'll never work with anyone reputable again. no company will be able to trust her around their investments (trainees and debuted idols), even if the public thinks she's not that bad. why hand someone the keys to your own downfall like that?

Absolutely all of this. Mhj is a fking weirdo. Hybe leader is a big backed greedy fuck too though, BTS fans BEEN knew THAT. I believe without a doubt that the was mean as shit to her and obviously jealous of how well NJ was doing. He thought HE was that dude on the premises!! but at the same time. She is waaaaaaaaaaaay to into that group of little girls. I mean, they're teenagers and all but...no other way to say it, she is too old to be that close.

Like. In my day to day life, sometimes I get stuck with teenagers too. but you keep that appropriate distance. You let them come talk to you and that's about it. You DONT vent to them, you DONT talk to them about your troubles...its giving 37 year old woman crying about her divorce to a 16 year old over world of warcraft or whatever lol. Like, sis..what do you mean one of them was coming over to console you?? You dont have adult friends for that?? This is just a lose lose...
