Harry Styles fan sentenced to prison for stalking
A Harry Styles fan has received a prison sentence for stalking the singer. The 35-year-old Myra Carvalho - who is from Brazil but has been living in a London hostel since December - was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison, banned from contacting Styles or attending any of his performances for 10 years. She pleaded guilty to stalking and was also ordered to pay a £134 (approximately $165) victim surcharge.
Prosecutorstold the court that Carvalho sent Harry 8,000 cards, including handwritten letters. Some of the communications were hand-delivered to his London home.
