I got measured at the doctor once and was told I was 5'4.75" but that my "social height" was 5'6" and I was like... ok who cares??

but actually they were kinda right because literally no one I meet and discuss height with believes that I'm under 5'6"? like people will ARGUE with me about it lmao

I compared heights with my coworker once and she didn't believe me at all when I told her I'm 5'2". She's 5'3"! She said I didn't give off 5'2" energy. To be fair, I would've guessed she was 5'4".

to be fair, this was a psychiatrist (they were taking my height & weight for the sake of prescribing medication ig) so that might have been a whole thing for him lol

i don't like this logic! Because then doesn't that mean my social weight is with clothes? I consider my real weight to be me buck ass naked on the scale at home, or at the very least shoeless at the doctor's office, tyvm!

to be fair, sometimes heavy clothes will make you look slimmer, whereas shoes will always make you seem taller? idek man
