Pamela Anderson to Star Opposite Liam Neeson in ‘Naked Gun’ Remake
Click to viewPamela Anderson has signed on to star opposite Liam Neeson in Paramount Pictures’ as yet untitled remake of Naked Gun, based on the movies spoofing tropes of police shows and films, that were released in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The movie series was based on the very short-lived comedy TV show Police Squad![sic] that ran for 6 episodes in 1982. It centered on an inept and clueless detective named Frank Drebin, played by Leslie Nielsen, who still somehow managed to solve the crime and save the day.
Plot details are under wraps, but Neeson is playing the role of Drebin & Anderson will be his love-interest, similar to the role played in the original movies by Priscilla Presley.
Paramount has penciled in a July 2025, release for the feature.
