The 2024
#TIME100 is here.
Introducing our list of the 100 most influential people in the world
https://t.co/DQApCxZRoZ- TIME (@TIME)
April 17, 2024 There's like a lotta people here so I'm A) sticking to Entertainment and B) the people you probably like! They got those vignettes by their peers at the source but I won't copy the entire thing, because they're very interesting!
I'm asking you to *gasp* go to the source and *GASP* read.
Well we start off with miss Dua Lipa, and girl, I guess! Sure! I liked Houdini! By Patti Smith -
She is thoughtfully outspoken for the oppressed and displaced. She founded an influential editorial platform, Service95, to cover cultural topics and address humanitarian concerns. She believes in family, is grateful to her parents and supportive of her siblings.
And in quite a surprising thing, we have Dev Patel! omg yay! By Daniel Kaluuya - who I believe was also Time 100 in 2021? 2022?
Dev radiates goodness. His humanity shines through every time he graces the screen, leaving you no choice but to root for him even when his character is doing something foul; his presence makes you understand where he’s coming from.
And we have Oscar Nominee Colman Domingo! By Lenny Kravitz -
He’s so kind and open-he really lets you into his spirit. I deeply admire his authenticity. He is completely honest and true to who he was created to be, and he does everything with such grace, humility, and gratitude.
And we have the icon Kylie Minogue. By Chris Martin -
That first meeting was otherworldly. After all this time, Kylie’s star has never dimmed. It’s an honor and a privilege to know her, and she is deserving of every good thing that happens to her.
And for the ONTD Art Girlies, we have Thelma Golden, an American Art Curator. By Michelle Obama -
As one of the most influential people in art, Thelma knows the power of flipping an assumption on its head. Her exhibits at the Studio Museum in Harlem and, previously, the Whitney not only stop you in your tracks, they also show you so much more about the depth of the Black experience.
There are many more people but I didn't know how many ya'll let me post. So at least click the source and look at the images?
