A follow up to this post.

Along with Brit Smith officially releasing her shelved version of Karma to streaming (originally titled Karma's a Bitch), the full video has leaked.

She was also interviewed by PageSix.

Smith says "Karma's a Bitch" was a song originally written with Miley Cyrus in mind. Cyrus ultimately passed on the song and Rock Mafia offered it to her.

Timbaland produced the original version and is in the music video.

She recorded another song with Timbaland called "Provocative," and her label (Interscope Records) felt that that should be her debut single instead.

Apparently "Provocative" features will.i.am and Betty White in the music video, which is news to me.

She ultimately regrets not going with "Karma's a Bitch."

When asked if JoJo Siwa did the song "justice," Brit said, "Um, yeah. I think, you know, it's nice to hear different interpretations of it. I was you know, attached to my version, but it's nice to hear."

She left the music industry after her debut single failed to chart. When asked if she'll return to music, she says she's thinking about it.
