Yep especially saying that she's a safe place for (white) girls. I guess the Madonna comparison is because she's super popular but can't be anything more than that cause Madonna did enjoy pushing buttons.

I took the Madonna reference as someone who is insanely business smart but very marginally talented. Though Madonnna is an amazing dancer and knew how to be provocative. The rest I agree lol

the coverage she gets reminds me of truth or dare era madonna. but she'll never do anything as interesting or provocative because she cares way too much about her public perception.

Yeah, the Madonna comparison was the most baffling part, because they're two very different artists, but I just assumed it was Courtney's way of saying something rude about Madonna lol.
