tbh I watched the first episode after the backlash and (imo) she definitely looks like Megan Fox. I totally see it. People are so OTT for no reason.

I think it was a dumb thing to say, given the context of the show, but I absolutely believe her.

Especially given how many people have tried to say that I look like celebrities I think I have no resemblance to lol

She totally did it competitively to manipulate an outcome knowing Jessica was uncommonly physically flawless… but Chelsea very much resembles Megan, especially in the eyes and brows.

Oh, I agree but it completely undercuts the supposed point of wanting to find a love connection based in less shallow things like looks or wanting to outcompete the other woman, etc. Like, isn’t she claiming to want something other than a man that line would work on bringing the show.

Total agree, I hated when she did it. It’s almost as bad as Shake asking women if he could put them on his shoulders at festivals, aka no fatties.

Yep. Like first off they shouldn't have even been allowed to bring that stuff up (any kind of reference to how one looks) but also the way she did it with the whole.."MGK's wife" was stupid, like girl, just say people have said you look like Megan Fox.

I think some of the participants have come out and said it's a prompt given to them by the producers on the show. So it isn't something the participants talk about on their own, but because they're told to.

That’s weird, I thought the first season was really strict about not referencing looks. I keep thinking about that guy who asked all his dates if he would be able to lift them up at concerts.

I know at least Jackie has come out and said it's a prompt by producers. I don't like her, but it's such a random thing to lie about, that I do trust her, and I feel like at least one other person said it too.

I think that she has enough similarities in her features that I'm sure people always say to her "Wow, you look like Megan Fox!", in the same way people will say any of us resemble whichever celebrity without meaning we're a clone of them.

However her intent on saying it was suspect and worthy of beclownment, just not the vitriol she received

She in no way deserved all the horrible backlash she received, but she had to know that on a show where people don’t see each other’s appearance, she was planting that Megan Fox thought in men‘s heads and maybe giving herself an edge.
