- Hatsune Miku (Yep, the same one from 2006), was set to make her Coachella debut this year.
- She's a hologram, a Volcaloid to be specific, but they couldn't even do that, instead having just a video of her stream at Coachella.
- People paid in the hundreds of dollars to "see" "her" "live".
- Alas, on an article on the Coachella Valley Independent had actually removed the phrase 'hologram' from her set description days earlier.
- One woman said ''
“I’m pretty disappointed because that’s the whole cool part about seeing an anime girl on stage,” she said. “... But since it’s on a screen I could kind of just watch it at home.”
Apparently her screen recording was entertaining to some of the other people in the audience.
