considering how wildly speculative things were online and how many people started witch hunting, i think people were well within their rights

honestly, same. even if the actors who reached out to her were completely above board and professional and kind in their interactions with her (and everyone else), who knows what could come of this for them. people take these things and run with them so easily. especially now that audiences are so (understandably) skeptical of actors defending themselves or others around them.

I was about to write that.

Being wrongfully accused sucks. A few years ago, I met someone who confessed/apologized she had trashed me about a decade ago and that she had mistaken me for someone else. The reason she trashed me was because someone had suggested me for service project that would've probably helped my career.

I was always wondering why I stopped being selected for years. It probably cost me work, too, based on other comments from other people. I can't directly prove this, but the timing and how I treated for years afterwards makes sense.

If only it was as easy as being a decent person.

Yeah I can see where they’re coming from to be honest. It would be one thing if she didn’t name *any* names at all and left it as vague as possible, but considering that she did specify that it definitely wasn’t Hugh Jackman or Tom Cruise then I can understand her other former co-stars feeling some kind of way about her not clarifying that it wasn’t actually them either

So glad this is the first comment. Disappointing that she continued to refer to them as amazing costars. Put them on blast for what they are.
