It's not like Harry Potter was a bastion of progressivism - which isn't unpopular to say now but I def remember critics getting attacked for saying so in HP's heyday - but it's still amazing how far down the rabbit hatehole Rowling has fallen. She pissed away so much goodwill and for what? Girl has a mansion and fuck you money, and she can't think of any better way to spend her time than be miserable about trans people while cozying up to/defending abusive men. Makes sense!

I saw someone on tumblr saying that she was "wasting her one precious life hating people" and it really is true. She could be living a spectacular life. But she seems deeply paranoid and unhappy to me.
