I haven't watched Euphoria (nor will I ever, not my thing personally), but she's always seemed a bit soft-spoken yet pointed to me as an adult.

Is there something I'm missing?

I just think in some press videos I’ve seen on her current press tour for Challengers she has nervous energy

I've read comments elsewhere that the trio in that film are all introvert types - whatever that means - mostly, I just think she's fine. She handled a croissant well and that movie is going to be FUN!

She's always given painfully shy, nervous energy in interviews. Sometimes I'm amazed she chose this career.

Yeah despite her incredible screen presence and red carpet serves she doesn't seem like a Jennifer Lawrence/Emma Stone/Rachel Zegler type at all, i.e. someone who thrives in the spotlight.

Also I get the impression based on things that she's said that she's kind of ambivalent about acting in general. Her real interests seem to be music, fashion, and becoming a director.

the director bit seems out of character from the outside but Denis Villeneuve did say that out of the entire cast she's the one who was the most interested about the directing process.

I think she doesn’t like public speaking. In her vogue outfits video she talked about how nervous she was going to be win an Emmy because she’d have to go up and make a speech.
