Today was the solar eclipse and the fallen down the stairs at the Met Gala singer shared a picture of him looking at the eclipse. People were quick to clock him in his comments for not wearing any glasses to protect his eyes from the sun.
Replies he received included, "Someone going to be seeing an optometrist tomorrow."
"RIP to his eye sight."
And, "Do you guys really think he’s stupid? A photo takes a literal second. Obviously he’s not gonna fuck up his vision and probably not looking directly at the sun. It’s a joke. It’s meant to be funny. If someone misinformed does this, it’s not on him."
Other celebs such as Lorde, Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift, Lance Bass, Jamie Lee Curtis and more shared their solar eclipse posts

The next total solar eclipse that will be visible to the continental U.S. won't be until August 23, 2044,
according to The Planetary Society. Almost exactly one year later, however, there will be another total solar eclipse that will span coast to coast on August 12, 2045.
