the boundary shouldn't be overstepped in the first place though, you see. even if the 'poor reputation' thing were true (in most cases it's not) intimacy coordinators are a preliminary or otherwise immediate response, rather than this prolonged 'solution'.

Where? who? because I don't remember anyone taking care of anything, both offscreen (Kirk Douglas, Cosby, most recently Weinstein) nor onscreen (Brando in "Last Tango in Paris", Olivia Hussey and Leonard describing their experience on "Romeo and Juliet" set with Zeffirelli, Sharon Stone describing a full room of spectators when she had to do a topless scene with a co-star screaming "Get out of the way. I can’t see her f***ing t**s", or the producer that told her to sleep with her co-star to make his performance better...)
And these are just the first that came to mind, but there for sure are countless others examples...
