Choutokkyu’s EP isn’t out until the 17th but they’ve put out one of the songs for it today

I went to an anime convention last weekend even though I’m not very in to anime anymore but it’s a tradition for me to go, it’s fun and I look forward to the panels offered and stuff. This year there were two VK panels, a few panels for music directly attached to anime, maybe some about utaite and anime idol stuff and four Kpop panels. The sad state of JPop in the west! 😭 I always think maybe next year I’ll apply to do a panel.

The song (especially the breakdown bit) makes me think of how YOASOBI's Idol would be like if sung by a boygroup lmao, that was a lot of fun! Thank you for sharing!!

Aw noooo why are there more K-Pop panels than VK... I mean it's understandable bc the year is not 2005 anymore but still, that's so sad to hear 😭

They invited some Kpop reaction influencers to do panels and events, they were fun so I’m not hating but I always feel like major Japan related events (so basically anime cons lol) can be used by companies and fans to grow more interest in Japanese music overseas but no one seems too interested in doing it… except for VK fans who seem to show up every year 😆

I saw Psychic Fever and came running lol. Me and a friend have been enjoying them on tiktok

Their discography is pretty solid!! BAKU BAKU and HABANERO are my faves!

I only know how to do stuff for kpop idols so I've just mainly heard their one song that's popular right now

Eta: I just listened to both and I love Baku Baku

I haven't listened to anything for this album yet other than the eat eat eat short and am optimistic! Think I'm gonna wait until it's available outside Japan and give it all a fresh listen. Mostly I'm excited this means possibility of a tour cause I'm itching for a show

Aimer's Dareka Umi wo will always be my fave, I wish Kanno Yoko would make more music with her again. And Psychic Fever's discography is pretty solid! Hope you have fun listening to them :D
