I'm the oldest of three and our parents died before any of us were adults. It was not ideal.

But they didn't sell us out, nor did they try.

I would love to speak about how my mom experienced a major loss and became a badass in a moment and having a family bed, for her and me and my two sisters - younger.

I feel fortunate just remembering that. It's truly what we needed and I felt safe and confused and it was good.

As the oldest, I had a kind convo in our home in the bathroom with my mom when she returned home after her husband, our father, died. She promised she would do whatever could to take care of herself.

Hero stuff. Cancer sucks and she did. And made sure.

This, however, is bonkers. I feel truly feel lucky and fortunate. Give me my dead mom over THIS. I'm sorry if that doesn't sound nice, but it's reality.

I think June's two biggest problems is that men fucked her up at an early age and she learned to mainly just use what she could, even her own kids, to make her way in life. That coupled with sudden fame and fortune, her inner growth is stunted and/or just non existent.

I'm so confused about how people on reality tv are paid tbh. HBB has been on television for over a decade, how does that girl only have that little money?
