it is a crying shame that he and Natalie were on a sexy show together and their characters never even kissed

I liked him in The Witcher and in Man From UNCLE, tho the latter film is now ruined by Cannibal Armie. Still I think Guy Ritchie got the best out of him, so I'm looking forward to this new film. I like Guy Ritchie's directorial style.

Guy Ritchie is a hit or miss for me but he certainly knows how to direct "hot but barely decent actors" and elevate them

ngl I shipped Charles/Anne on the side LOL. Natalie's seasons of the Tudors were The Shit. No other wife compared for me.

oh for sure Natalie's Anne had so much more charisma than all the other wives put together. Especially when you compared her to the first actor who played Jane Seymour in season 2, she was awful lol. Jane Seymour 2 was much better. though after Anne Boleyn I'd say my favorite wife was Anne of Cleves, tho it was funny that they were trying to convince the audience Joss Stone was ugly because NO

There's a set of photos somewhere from a Tudors premiere night where Natalie is ogling Henry like she wants to eat him for lunch, its hilarious:

God, I think I saw these photos and was like "Why did we not get a Charles and Anne affair!"

I'm pretty sure I watched the Joss Stone season (I only remember Anne, tbh) and I honestly think it's hilarious they tried to pass her off as ugly. (It's like GOT trying to pass Gwendoline Christie off as ugly. She still rocked the no makeup look!)

The first seasons of The Tudors were so fun. Natalie Dormer ate, but also Maria Doyle Kennedy was great as Katherine. It was downhill from there.

I really like Maria Doyle Kennedy but Katherine was SO hard to like. I know I know different time different values than me but I hated how she chose devotion to Henry over the chance to actually be in her daughter's life. Like, I get on a lot of levels why the character did it, but still: hard to like pickin' a dick over your kid, hunty! She was definitely last in my Tudors Henry VIII wives power rankings. Which go:

1. Anne Boleyn
2. Anne of Cleves
3. Katherine Parr
4. Katherine Howard
5. Jane Seymour (she loses a spot in ranking because I really thought the first actor who played her was terrrrrrible)
6. Katherine of Aragon

It's been a hot minute since I watched it, but it always seemed sad since in the end Mary was deemed illegitimate anyway.

Joss was cute as Anne, especially for one of her only acting roles, but I've always enjoyed Anne for being like "Sure, I'll just go enjoy all my money on my own away from you're nasty leg infection."

I just watched The Tudors for the first time because a friend recommended it. She was like you'll learn to call him YOUR GRACE.
