Yeah, I bet if more women knew there is a "peri-" they would know they are in it.

Yes. It should be a routine test at 35 let's say to get your FSH levels checked to see where you are in your egg life/periods journey. Hell, do it at 28 in case you wanted to make decisions about children and find out your particular eggs were aging faster and stuff.
