This documentary has brought out the worst in people.

I don’t really keep up with Disney/Nickelodeon actors, so I don’t know how they’re all perceived by the public. But, apparently Josh Peck is close to a group of YouTubers and Uncle Jesse (all whom have been accused of, at the very least, sexual harassment). So… idk, idk if I care about his opinion on anything.

But, I’m also grossed out by people attacking him in Bell’s defense - as if he wasn’t the same age as Bell AND like he didn’t have a perfectly good reason to stop being friends with Bell after it was found out that he’s continuing the cycle of abuse.

Then there’s that random actor dude who had a Nickelodeon show who literally said his show was cancelled because he “didn’t give up ass” - as if ANY minor had any say so in being harmed. What the fuck.

Lastly, back to the public again: spreading rumors about Jamie Lynn, Amanda Bynes, hell there’s even someone on TT implying that Lee Thompson Young ended his life because of abuse. HAS NO ONE LEARNED ANYTHING? These are real people with real lives, not just your content. Be responsible about what you say. Fuuuuck.

I find it really disturbing that so many people on tiktok are spreading around the rumor that Dan raped Amanda and forced her to get an abortion at 13, and basing it on a tweet from the PersianLa27 twitter which is iffy on whether it was actually Amanda or not. There is evidence that it was not, and just someone trying to scam people out of money. I feel like it's really irresponsible to spread that rumor when Amanda has said nothing about it while sober and lucid.

Whatever Amanda went through, it's her story to tell.

I remember that it was so hectic. I just posted a comment wondering if that was all true. I remember her posting "evidence" at the time but it was such a crazy time with those tweets.

I do remember there was some evidence it was her posting, but some that it wasn't. Honestly, I take anything posted on that twitter with a grain of salt just because there's no definitive answer whether it was her or not.

The main evidence I remember was she allegedly posted a picture of her driver's license to prove it was really her (which could have been photoshopped).

There's also theories of Dan being the father of Jamie Lynn's child. Tiktok's conspiracy theorists are spreading too much shit around like it's factual. It's unpleasant.

That rumor has been around since she was pregnant. ONTD used to engage with it. Too bad it's resurfaced. People suck.

I rememeber seeing those comments on here years ago but honestly look at Maddie and look at her dad....she legit looks like her dad! It's unfounded at this point!

The damage true crime has done on stan culture needs to be studied. So many people spreading potential lies about victims in the name of said victim is insane. I feel so bad for Amanda Bynes if she ever reads half the things said about her on Twitter.
