The facelift comment is her saying when she has sagging skin and legit can't do anything but surgery to address it. She isn't saying people need facelifts. Injectables, lasers and all that help but at the end of the day, you're just putting off surgery until you can't.

No one actually thinks she thinks its medically necessary, it’s the idea that sagging skin is even something anyone feels the need to address. It’s ok to get a few wrinkles and some looser skin, aging is a privilege and frankly people who embrace it look better long term.

Your opinion. And I don't think she's talking about a little sagging or a few wrinkles. Most people don't get facelifts until they are like 50 or older. Face and browlifts done earlier without sagging are to change face shape. As popular as that option appears on social media, it isn't like that irl.

I know what she’s referring to and I still think wrinkles and sagging after 50 look better than a facelift

I'm 60 and I had a breast reduction. But my face? Never! I want to look my age and I'm scared about something going wrong. Most people who had a facelift do not even look younger, just a little distorted. Nowadays the results are getting better, but it still depends on your surgeon and your luck. Nope.

" it still depends on your surgeon and your luck."

That the thing that makes me most hesitant about plastic surgery. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and more often than not, I don't even like what make-up artists do to my face but at least it could be washed off. I can test make-up artist but how am I gonna test plastic surgeons without permanent damage?

It’s about her feeling the NEED to get surgery for something that has happened, is happening, and will happen to every single human who ever existed.
