It does. I love both Alien and Aliens, and I love how they're essentially both fantastic films but completely different genres for the most part. Alien is much more of a horror film in space whereas Aliens is basically an action movie.

My top 3 will always be:

1. Aliens- Live the mix of sci fi, action and comedy. Plus, "Get Away from her you bitch"
1b. Alien: Besides REC and The Descent, its my favorite horror film ever

3. Alien vs Predator: Sanaa Lanthan kicking ass and some great scares.

I'm still wary... I remember the trailer for Prometheus (felt similar to this) and I was all SUPER EXCITED and then the film was a huge disappointment.

When the trailer is better than the movie.
