Need recs, please! :)
My skincare routine is good, but I want to improve on removing sebaceous filaments on my nose. They aren't blackheads and when I did use Biore (years ago), that didn't do anything.

I cleanse my face with La Roche Posay Purifying Face Wash and don't use a toner, serum, or exfoliant because I don't know which one to use. I moisturize with ILLIYOON Ceramide.

I don't want a step-heavy skincare routine but I'm willing to add products that can clear up the black sebaceous filaments on my nose.

A chemical exfoliate or a retinol might help! My skin isn’t perfect and I still have some filaments but I think these have helped.

I use The Ordinary lactic acid, or Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliatant depending on my mood. Both brands also do retinol products. Use them at night, but not at the same time or you’ll dry your face right out. Alternate one night acid exfoliant, the next night retinol. Moisturise afterwards.

Give your face a break if it’s feeling a little dry or if you’re noticing a breakout.

Just make sure you use sun cream during the day as they can make your skin more sensitive to UV!

Couple an active like retinol at night with an oil cleanse in the morning. I love using TO's Squalane (or hemi squalane if you can get it). Just massage the oil in with really light pressure in gentle circles for 60-90 seconds. The grit should come right out!

Start off with Paula's Choice 2% BHA. You can get a small bottle to try if you don't want to commit, though it lasts for a long time. Start off with using it every other day and then work up to every day

I had many sebaceous filaments on my nose, on my cheeks and between my eyebrows and BHA helped reduce the appearance sooo much

Seconding Paula's Choice BHA. I use the liquid, but they offer a few different formulas depending on your skin type/preferences. I'm personally sensitive to retinoids, but they're great if your skin can handle it. Otherwise, you might also want to look into azelaic acid; Paula's Choice also offers a "booster" that you can mix into your moisturizer.

Cosrx snail mucin products are the only thing that help with my sebaceous filaments.
