lmao I had no idea there had ever been an alliance between the Barbz and Swifties. that's very embarrassing for everyone involved

lmfao what’s their alliance (can’t watch the video)? I can’t think of two worse fan bases to support each other they’re all feral

apparently the Barbz joined with Swifties to stream "Look What You Made Me Do" in an attempt to keep Taylor at #1 and prevent "Bodak Yellow" from reaching it. It failed.

I finished the video and it's not bad. Nicki is rancid. most of it was stuff I knew but there were a couple items of new info

Same. I knew most of it from here but learned a few little disgusting nuggets.

She is horrid.

Does nobody remember when Taylor joined Nicki on stage after some Twitter drama?!

I remember that but I don't remember the unholy alliance to prevent Cardi from getting a #1

yet it's so unsurprising

it's slightly surprising since they're both the type of fanbases to hold major grudges even if their cult leaders publicly made nice

and yet not because both fanbases are freakishly chart-obsessed, though I find the way modern music fans are invested in that to be super fucking strange. I'm a 90s music fan, in my day you started hating things when they got popular because popularity meant they SOLD OUT lmao

honestly it just baffles me every time I see fanbases caring about their faves charting like they are getting a share of the royalties. you want your faves to be successful enough to remain productive sure but otherwise who the fuck cares

ia the charts thing is bizarre and it reminds me of fantasy football

it's silly, and honestly, after seeing a couple of FANTASTIC concerts by artists with average success in intimate concert halls for 90 bucks last year as opposed to spending hundreds and hundreds to be 1 in 70k at a stadium pop show, I don't get the desire for your fave to be a megastar
