Janine spearheads a pilot program that brings a librarian to Abbott; however, when friction arises with one of the teachers, it strains Janine’s relationships with both parties. Meanwhile, both Melissa and Jacob deal with some big changes at home.

It’s been years since I saw Cree Summee but I recognised her instantly from her voice.

Janine seems to hang around the school a lot for someone who doesn’t work there and has a bunch of other schools to look after.

Melissa and Jacob bonding over Real Housewives and popcorn sprinklings was cute 🥰

Needs more Josh Segarra.

I just love him - every time he pops up in something I’m delighted. I don’t think he’s all that great of an actor, he seems to play similar characters generally, but he’s just really charming.

i don't quite understand why they changed janine's job idk if that was a great idea writing wise. especially since we still see her there all the time but the plot every ep is supposed to be a tension btw her being there and not being there so... idk it just feels weird.

okay i got to watch last night's ep and i really liked it. it was interesting seeing barbara clearly wrong about something and i dont blame janine for being terrified to confront her because i too am terrified of confrontation lol

this plotline for Janine is like Ryan becoming manager in The Office or even Robert California. It's unrealistic that these characters would keep coming back to one branch/school more than others, but they do because this is the branch/school this show is about. But I find it distracting. Like doesn't she hang out in other schools that are part of the district?

same, i was cackling at them talking about their exes on the couch and talking RHONJ. i hope they continue to switch up the group dynamics, its been fun

Bearded Manny was definitely an improvement. This episode is the most that I've ever actually liked Jacob, who is easily my least favorite of the core cast. I also liked that they kind of had Janine realize that Barbara isn't perfect. Overall, it was a very, very good episode.

I'm glad Gregory was able to give Janine the boost she needed to stand up to Barb but NGL I am rooting for her and Manny now. Greg closed that door and she SHOULD date more than 3 men in her life.
