Sharon Stone named the producer that pressured her to have sex with "Sliver" (1993) costar Billy Baldwin (Alec's younger brother), to help his "performance" in the film. She has previously wrote about it in her book "The Beauty of Living Twice", now she revealed that it was the late Robert Evans, who died in 2019, at age 89.
"He's running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin's performance would get better. And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem."
According to this man's logic, after having sex with Billy, then they would have chemistry onscreen and it "would save the movie."
Sharon replied that she didn't have to sleep with 'Basic Instinct's co-star Michael Douglas to have chemistry with him, "Michael could come to work and just know how to hit those marks and do that line, and rehearse and show up. "
Sharon said that she had actor approval in my contract and presented a list of actors that she suggested for the part, but the producer still cast Baldwin
