I'm so happy for Cillian! Emma Stone winning is the only award that really pissed me off. She beat Lily and Sandra, it's ridiculous. I can't believe she has two Oscars and 5 nominations, she's not that good of an actress imo.

this is the second time emma won over two women who clearly gave better performances/career highlight roles. i don't think she's a bad actress - quite the opposite - but i do think she's lucky in terms of timing, a split ballot, and tbh the best publicist/agent out there. whodda thought that the easy a girl would be the muse of one of the preeminent directors currently working

It also plays well for her that the Oscars tend to award the loud and flashy roles instead of stronger but more subtle and quiet performances.

I can't stand the fake shock. She won all the big awards except for SAG, everybody knew she was the favorite to win
