I have been desperate for news on this ngl, I just listened and had no idea Joy was one of the reasons Hilarie wasn’t asked back after S6.

Anyway fuck Joy forever for being anti trans - love that Sophia & Hilarie have been posting so much more in support about trans rights recently.

They didn’t give anymore details- idk if they’ll add more to a newsletter they mentioned? Tbh ONTD is my only source for goss/news so idk how they work but I presume they’ll reveal more if they get interest? Maybe?

Do you mean S6 of the podcast? I stopped listening after S4 because that's when OTH as a show started going downhill. I did wonder if the podcast had been in production with this drama going on.

No they said on the deux podcast that it was about like s7+ on the show! I always thought it was because Hilarie didn’t want to go back so it was news to me too!

Also agree lol s5/6 were not great and I stopped watching altogether after Hilarie left- they have found some good stuff to talk about for both seasons though… sort of - they haven’t got to the infamous dog & heart scene yet lol and they were struggling to be nice about chad’s episode- presumably as they wanted to avoid some of the fans who still bitch at them after every ep for being “mean” about Lucas/the show

Yeah Hilarie has definitely talked about how she couldn't wait for her contract to be up so she could gtfo. Mark made everything toxic for her.

Oh interesting! Hilarie said in an earlier season of the podcast she hadn't even seen how OTH the show played out after she left, and she was looking forward to discussing it. Now she's gone? How suspicious!
