I always suspected that while Christina has mellowed out now, but that she's still that same person just more lowkey.

Cause this is kinda reminding me of Destiny's Child and Jessica Simpson having a similar experience in the past.

Michael Yo (radio DJ) mentioned a case when DC was the opening act for Christina back in the early 00s in Dallas or Houston. He was interviewing them backstage when Christina's entourage just came in and interrupted them by saying to get out cause Christina needs to prepare or something like that. Michael says that Beyonce and the girls were clearly embarassed by that and that Bey said "Ugh I'm sorry, she's always like this" so what they did was they got a limo to drive around the area so they could finish the interview. He mentioned that Beyonce's humbleness is why she's still out here.

Jessica Simpson mentioned in her memoir a case where she was walking backstage at some award show and Christina's entourage was clearing the pathway cause Christina was coming through. Jessica clearly didn't like it and mentioned that anytime an interviewer asked about Christina she'd take that bait to critique her while singing praises of how nice Britney is in comparison.

Twitter/X is horrible with the Britney v X feud to this date. Constantly tearing down the other to lift up their fav. These are grown ass people in their 30s/40s nitpicking negative stories and cherry picking unflattering photos, etc, to make the other look mean, ugly, etc., to make their fav look better by default. Again grown ass people!

The irony is that both Britney and Christina have said much more pleasant things about one another in the last 20 years yet their worst stans for some reason want to keep this feud and never ending comparison alive.

I don't think she performed for people, she was just like that.

Only in music do I wish Christina and Britney had done the opposite. Sometimes I felt like someone should've reigned Christina on the genre jumping for each album and Britney I wish she would've been encouraged more to step outside the box.
