Honestly I think he deserves an Emmy for The Bear. He’s been on the show for about 15 seconds total and yet you completely understand why Carm is terrified of him.

Absolutely. His character reminds me of someone I dealt with when I was younger and I'm just like Damn, who knew he could make a good villain?!

I work in fine dining and he's so good in that role. Makes me laugh too because when he was in town filming something he went to my old job all the time. Joel, did you sneak into the kitchen when no one was looking for research?

I can't decide if I think he's actually funny or not

I feel like the characters he plays are funny but he himself is not funny, even though I enjoyed the soup

I didn't know he played Thomas Keller (who I knew only from his sciency cooking book).
He turned out to be an asshole? Talk about name and shame lmao
A lot of people are going to be shaking in their boots now hoping not to be featured on the next season

I thought his Bear character was based on Charlie Trotter? Who was known for his verbal abuse in the Chicago dining scene

Most chefs endure terrible verbal abuse and go on to do the same it seems like

He's one of my favourites and i always watch anything he's in. Stick that sarcasm and cynical humour straight to my veins, man. I recently found a copy of his book he wrote a few years ago and I'm just chuckling all the way.
