I started the season really rooting for them but their conversations regarding sex quickly started to feel like a bad afterschool special, they are the most boring couple in the history of this trash show.

i think they alluded to condoms but he wanted a belt and suspenders approach meaning a 2nd form of birth control as fall back. But it's still so dumb because they acted like the pill was the only thing that exists. Could've discussed pulling out, timing her cycle, non-hormonal IUDs, diaphragms, etc.

I'm really convinced the producers told them or they figured out on their own that they were boring and needed to make up some drama/conflict to get air time.

they're either lying, or they're everything BUTT people before marriage.

Seriously how do you make it to late 20's and not know any other secondary birth control method (in addition to condoms) besides the pill. If you truly like each other and are horny, get thee to a gynecologist and discuss all the options. Would've made for a good episode.
