Oh! Ryokuoushoku Shakai are the ones behind Mela!

Is there a name for bands like them, Yoasabi, Sakanaction? Or do they just come under J-Pop?

I'm not sure if there's an official genre name for those bands yet, but generally I would say they're J-pop, yes!

Number_i - I hope they release more music soon. GOAT isn't my favorite song ever, but I'm excited for them as a post-King&Prince group 😊

I'm not familiar with them, but seems like they were no.1 on the charts everywhere! 8D Agreed re:GOAT - I kinda wish they'd choose FUJI instead. Slower songs like Blow You Cover and Rain or Shine sounds so good as well!!

I'm so glad Jasmine is releasing music again. "Everything" is really good, and the Mary J. Blige interpolation really hits when slowed.

Me too! 🥹 Now that the main J-Pop scene has shifted to Vocaloid-esque(?) music, I really appreciate how Jasmine is still making music how she likes.

The collabs with Aimi are bangers!!
