March 5, 2024 -Michael Gambon (who died last September at 82) left in his will his £1.5million fortune to his his wife of 61 years, Lady Anne Gambon. She is listed as an executor along with their son Fergus (60), a ceramics expert on the BBC series Antiques Roadshow.
-He has left nothing to the long-term girlfriend, set designer Phillipa Hart, whom he started openly dating in 2000 and with whom he had two teenage sons, Tom and William
- Tom (17) and William (15) received just £10,000 and an award each (a silver heart Variety Club of Great Britain stage actor award, one that was awarded in 1987, the other in 2000)
-The will was drawn up and signed in 2016, way after the birth of his two younger children.
-Back when he started openly dating Phillipa and presenting her as his "girlfriend" while still being married, wife Lady Gambon was said to "have been devastated by the news of her husband's other relationship" and moved out of their house. But she then "came to terms with the arrangement" and moved back in to their Gravesend home, while he divided his time between there and his West London townhouse with Phillipa and their children
