I’m team Jennie. I would be embarrassed if someone lifted up my skirt in front of a bunch of coworkers, and would not see it as funny. I get that the environment they worked in probably made it “ok”, but Shannen should have thought a bit before doing it.

Also I feel like men are more likely to think 'pantsing' one another is hilarious (or at least not feel uncomfortable by it), where as women (especially at the time) would've already had to deal with shit like upskirting from creepy paps.

I certainly feel for Shannen because she was definitely dealt a lot of crap from Aaron Spelling in both BH and Charmed but it really makes me wonder if there was other behavior on set from her, like why the fuck would you do that to anyone?

As she said in the podcast (with proper audio on podcast apps) it was a regular thing on the set.

Yeah I have to agree, Shannen saying that she decided to do a female version "skirts up" makes it sound like it was previously just the guys pantsing one another? I can understand why Jennie would be taken aback in that case to have another woman lift up her skirt in everyone, especially if she hadn’t been participating in the guys fooling around

It just feels like a much more sexualised thing to expose a woman like that, I would have been super embarrassed as a young woman if that had happened to me on a set of my peers

So in the other article I read about this, the summary said that it was Jennie who was doing he pants down gag. And the crew guys were getting embarrassed and tired of it, but she wouldn't stop. So Shannen thought she would show her how it sucks by doing a skirts up prank. And Jennie was furious.

I don't know which recap is more accurate. I tried to listen to the video, but the audio on the linked video is coming out as an entirely different podcast for me (YouTube glitch, idk).
