I love Martin Short so much and his friendships. Please read his memoir if you haven’t already! Loved his stories about these Canadian productions and his love for his wife is just the best. My forever selling point is him being talked down from a bad high by Victor Garber during Gilda Radner’s SNL premiere episode.
Martin Short's memoir is one of my favorite memoirs of all time. I honestly recommend listening to it because he is incredibly charming in his audiobook.
I’m honestly surprised I haven’t listened to the audiobook. A friend and I were just talking about how we love when the actual subject read their autobiographies for the audiobook yesterday and I thought of him.
I've listened to a good chunk and he is hilarious and does impressions and is just prime Martin Short. Lowkey hope that he's dating Meryl. When he talks about the loss of his wife in the book, it made me so sad and I just want him to be happy!

I don’t know if you’re a Friends fan but I jokingly said I was going to put his book in my freezer once he started writing about the death of wife because I didn’t want to read it. So fucking painful.
If he is dating Meryl I am here for it. They both deserve happiness!!! Ever since his “actors on actors” with Jean Smart I have wanted a romcom with them and now I want a romcom love triangle with him and Jean and Meryl lol

Dick Van Dyke also has a really good memoir but he reads slowly so I listened it at like 2x speed.
