This feels like a career misstep for Kate, especially after the success of Mare of Easttown.

I was not expecting this to be a comedy (but I also didn't read anything about it before watching). I'm disappointed it isn't a drama, to be honest.

To add, the theme and scoring were also underwhelming. I'll stick it out, but the trailer is superior to the premiere episode.

I'm watching Alice and Jack only for Domhnall Gleeson and I find Andrea Riseborough so uncharismatic and charmless. I haven't seen much of her, but this increases my dislike for her after the Oscar mess
