February 23, 2024 -They who shall not be named have a new show coming out and thus are talking about what made them successful: Game of Thrones.
-They reveal that they originally had wanted Game of Thrones to end on the big screen in a trilogy of films as opposed to Season 7 and season 8.
-AT&T reminded them that HBO stands for Home Box Office. Not ABO - Away Box Office.
-Since AT&T primarily is in the cellphone business...they attempted to persuade the showrunners to film the show vertically so it could be easily watchable on cellphones.
-Showrunners didnt get what they want (3 movies). AT&T didnt get what they want (vertical GoT). Us fans didnt get what we want (a good last season). Everyone suffered.
