There are actually TWO miniseries LMAO. I didn't see the other one, but it was Children of Dune, which is book 3 I think? Dune 2021 is first half of book one, 2 is second half, and the third movie if they make it will be book 2 (get ready for some really weird shit if that happens).

The Children of Dune miniseries covers books 2 and 3 (Dune Messiah and Children of Dune). It's even better than the first Dune miniseries, and it stars James McAvoy!

Sci fi channel was SUCH a good channel back then. I remember their modern Oz series with Zoey Bangs Deschanel....and then....it went to shit

I was a HUGE Sci Fi fan and watched everything until 1.) Syfy and 2.) they canceled Farscape (which was actually before Syfy happened but still - it was 2009 haha, the Syfy renaming, not Farscape being canceled in 2003 + the miniseries in 2004 which was also Hallmark-produced lol).

And yes, Tin Man was great! Hallmark Entertainment used to make some amazing sci-fi/fantasy miniseries (Tin Man, the Dune stuff, THE TENTH KINGDOM, Dinotopia, etc) but they went under in 2005 and then became what it is now.

I found a list of all the Hallmark stuff when they were fantasy people and it's a lot of my childhood bops! I LOVED miniseries events back in the day, but alas, they seem to have died out.
