I think it has more to do with the way she's styled; it's giving Real Housewife instead of the youthful girl she is.

Unfortunately they wear similar dresses to what Millie is wearing in their promos. :(

I blame her people more than her because they had a nasty tendency of styling her in a mature way, even when she was 14-15. :( There's a definite difference in the way she's styled vs Sadie Sink (who is a year older but dressed more age-appropriate).
