The highly-anticipated Dune: Part 2 is finally in theaters worldwide (looks like international markets got it days before North America did). So far it's brought in $12M domestically from Thursday night and early screenings, and is expected to rack in at least $70M in the U.S./Canada by end of weekend.

Dune 2's already made $7.6M overseas before Thursday, and WB's expecting it to bring in minimum $150M worldwide this weekend (on a $190m budget). No word yet on whether this is enough to greenlight a third installment.
