Bethany Joy Lenz has revealed the cover of her new memoir titled "Dinner for Vampires" and named the “abusive, high-demand group (aka cult)” in which she spent a decade of her life.
The 'One Tree Hill' star said that she found a safe haven in a Bible study group with other industry members, but it "soon morphed into something more sinister-a slowly woven web of manipulation, abuse and fear under the guise of a church covenant called The Big House Family"
Convinced by the cult, she relocated to the Family's Pacific Northwest compound, where a “domineering minister” persuaded her to marry one of his sons. She then lost millions of her TV income, as well as her autonomy
In the past she revealed in interviews that she was a part of the group during the entirety of 'One Tree Hill' and that many castmates tried to convince her to leave.
According to wikipedia, she was married to Michael Galeotti (a musician formerly of the band Enation) from 2005 to 2012. They had daughter Maria Rose Galeotti on 2011.
