i cry EXTREMELY EASILY at movies and have even cried bc of a commercial in the past but 20 days in mariupol and the iron claw are the two that have made me ugly sob the most recently

it’s a brutal watch but ia with feeling obligated, you just have to be in the right mindset - though idk if there’s ever the right mindset to witness what’s going on in ukraine

the director and crew are so fucking brave to have stayed in mariupol as long as they did, and it’s very well made.

omg i can't believe we listed the same 2 movies! there have been others recently too since i always watch all the oscar movies, those are just the 2 that stand out the most to me.
