I got German citizenship at the end of 2019. It took a grand total of four years for me to be ashamed of it.

Good job, lads.

I don't know if I was just not paying attention, but I swear Germany wasn't this batshit a few years ago.

the far right has been rising in germany for a few years now. there was even an armed insurrection planned a few years ago that was thankfully prevented: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/germany-coup-plot-reichsburger-sovereign-citizens-conspiracy-theories-rcna60492

being against the current israeli government's actions, talking about the fruition of netenyahu's decades long campaign to wipe palestine/palestinians off the map and publicly calling a genocide what it actually is is NOT antisemetic. why is this so fucking difficult for people to understand?!

netenyahu/the israeli government do not represent all jewish people - they don't even really represent most israelis!

Certain media outlets are trying REALLY hard to conflate the two.

A complicated, subtle form of antisemitism is emerging, argues Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman ( @NoahRFeldman) in an essay https://t.co/PiAgZpf2C0 pic.twitter.com/EK3AkFVP4o

the incredibly enraging thing that really gets me is the blatant islamaphobia behind a lot of this "it's antisemetism!!" finger pointing.

this conflict has really got islamaphobes and antisemites proudly showing themselves in DROVES.

People are using this to push a lot of actual antisemitic stuff/conspiracy theories and mainstream media focuses on people who just don’t want to support genocide. It’s mind boggling.

In the beginning a lot of actual white supremacist accounts got a huge boost bc they used this to pretend they care about Palestinians. A person actually recommended somebody who quoted Mein Kampf. I was like this is a white supremacist account and they said it isn’t. Strangest interaction I had on Twitter in years.

Listen I get they have generational shame even some of my most open German friends would freak out if anything Israel related would get brought up in public and tbh it’s great they teach about the horrors of the Nazi regime in schools BUT… this ain’t it yo. Like. It ain’t.

The full text of Yuval's tweet speaks volumes, esp:

"If this is what you’re doing with your guilt for the holocaust - I don’t want your guilt."

I've seen too much spilled blood, too many dead bodies for anybody to try to convince me that what Itsnotreal have been doing to the Palestinians isn't genocide. We're witnessing it in real time and anybody who opposes it is somehow vilified and punished. People really learned nothing from history, because its repeating itself and they're still on the wrong side of things. I hate it so much. I'm so angry.

Poland itoo.

What Sikorski is doing makes my blood boil.

It makes me so angry that most people in Poland don’t know what’s happening bc mainstream media are very one-sided, it’s mainly small activist accounts who are posting about it and I think only like three people from Razem made an appeal in Sejm last month and I don’t even think most MPs where there.

I think a lot of people simply aren’t tuned in to the bloodshed. My feeds have been unintentionally curated to show that kind of death and despair because of the activists I’ve been following and it breaks my fucking heart every day. But, to many, it’s just another “war” across the world.

This is in addition to the zionist brainwashing of most American/European Jews (I follow antizionist Jewish creators and I’ve honestly cried with them as they reflect on how early the brainwashing started for them, how they’ve been alienated by family/friends since Oct, etc), the rampant Islamophobia across the world, etc.

But, those that DO know innocent people are being murdered after their families have been harmed by the Israeli govt for decades and just go “it’s inevitable to have loss! 🤷🏻‍♀️” (Clintons, Biden, Obama & millions others)… I truly hope there is a hell for them. Monsters.
