Jon Stewart announced the death of his dog Dipper on The Daily Show
His family adopted Dipper from New York City animal shelter Animal Haven. His children were 6 or 7-years-old at the time, and they had baked cupcakes for the shelter.
-“As a little extra incentive, they brought out this 1-ish year old brindle pit bull who got hit by a car in Brooklyn and lost his right leg. We left with this 1-ish year old brindle pit bull.
-"We called him Dipper, and in a world of good boys, he was the best"
-“Dipper passed away yesterday. He was ready. He was tired, but I wasn’t.”
