Beef is returning for a second season and Deadline reports four actors are currently in talks for lead roles. The show will become an anthology, following a different story this season. Reportedly, the second season would feature a warring pair of couples.
Should the talks lead to deals, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny would portray one couple while Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal (who costarred in Brokeback Mountain and Love & Other Drugs) would play the other.
