It’s not great, it’s not bad, just kinda there. Wasted some really great performances on a nonsensical story with too many parts, none of which got enough airtime. The music selection was atrocious. But also worth a watch cause it’s only six episodes.
Mixed bag. The arctic horror vibes were great. The acting was really good. The case itself could have been handled more engagingly and it needed about 2 more episodes to really breathe. They introduced a really cool tertiary character and I want a whole season about her.
I haven't watched the first 3 seasons, but I went in blind because I heard it was a standalone story. I'm 3 eps in and enjoying it a lot, but I'm also only watching an episode every other day (because my bf works 3rd shift and we started it together 🙄)
I agree w/ others that the setting, the indigenous presence, and the actors really make the show. But I'm also a fan of the kind of body horror and other horror elements they employ
episodes 1, 5 & 6 were pretty good (and i would rate them in that order). episode 4 was corny and clunky and almost laughably bad. the writing isn't the best and a lot of the characters and storylines are underdeveloped but the exploration of the overall themes is interesting.
